Lamb of God: Resolution

Lamb of God released their new album titled “Resolution” this year which was produced and mixed by Josh Wilbur. This by far, is the only album that is as good as “Ashes of the Wake”. It’s a masterpiece wherein they have managed to keep the soul that makes LOG’s music so unique while making it sound something really different from their other albums. Right from their first track “Straight for the Sun” which begins with Randy’s epic growl to the last track on the album titled “King Me” you’ll be hooked wanting more and more. You might want to watch out for tracks like “Ghost Walking”, “Insurrection”, “Terminally Unique”, “King Me” and “Visitation” – These tracks according to me were the best ones in the album. The solos in some of the songs are really really good. They have maintained their standard growls, groovy riffs and the breakdowns which make their music so unique unlike some bands that often lose their element after their 4th or 5th album. So if you haven’t heard the album yet I’d suggest you “awaken” and make a “visitation” to your nearest music store and pick this album up. Take my word for it, it doesn’t fail to impress at all. Once you’re done listening to it I assure you you’ll be “Ghost Walking” with me on the 26th of May, 2012 on the Bangalore Palace Grounds in one of the craziest moshpits the city has ever seen.

I’ll give the album a good 8.5/10.
